Hi everyone!
Though I’ve been part of Stage 32 for a while, I’d love to reintroduce myself. I’m an Iranian-born writer, actor, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, passionate about creating character-driven stories about people caught between the weight of the past, the forces that control them, and the hope of transformation.
My projects span drama, psychological thriller, fantasy, and YA -- including The Last Note (a feature drama about art, love, and resilience), Ziba (a story of survival and forbidden love in Iran), Eclipse of Destiny (a fantasy drama pilot), and The Unborn Path (a psychological drama with thriller and sci-fi elements). I’m also developing a YA fantasy novel, Kai and the Lost Lantern.
I’m always eager to connect with fellow storytellers, filmmakers, and collaborators drawn to bold, emotional, and transformative narratives. Excited to cheer on your projects too!

Welcome! That's quite the variety of projects. I'm more of a sci-fi action guy, however "The Unborn Path" sounds really cool. I'd give it a read. Cheers.

You have great background for stories that would help people understand Iran in stories. Quincy Institute gives solid unstereotypes info but political, not the arts. I have a play involving a gay Saudi falsely accused of violence and the Jewish American lawyer trying to get him a fair trial in NYC. I got a "culture" check from Maia Directors (and by the actual defendant) They might value your experience and background to help writers align their stories and characters with Middle Eastern realities. (Maia referred me to playwright/actor Kareem Fahmy who gave me very useful feedback.)
