To introduce myself: Hello, my name is Ron Christensen. I was a Theater Major and Music Minor in college. I appeared in many stage productions and upon graduation found an agent and went into her office in Hollywood weekly to submit, manually! Too many blond haired blue eyed boys in the pool. Corporate America called and I found myself stuck there for the next 30+ years before escaping and taking classes and self-submitting successfully to web series and one off TV shows, I was a very popular minister. In the meantime I listed my home on a several location web sites and have had a number of film shoots for commercials, and short films, and proof of concept projects. My house now has a better reel (a music video) then I do, with one more coming up from a commercial shot here last week. I am concentrating on film shoots in my home now, with the occasional self-submission.

The Green Wall is a live-action/stop motion short about an artistically gifted girl from a modern Egyptian village who dreams of a mythological fantasy world. The film will feature live action footage shot on location in Egypt and the fantasy sequences will be done in stop motion on miniature sets in my studio in Edinburgh, Scotland. Hello all, A friend recommended I join this awesome community, so here I am and I'm really liking it so far! I have been in LA for 1 year, and am ready to get to work! I have a background in classical violin and photography. I'm excited to meet new people in LA, so please don't be shy! I just completed my entry for Project Greenlight which I shot in 9 hours in the Mojave Desert, and then had 1 week in Post. Whew. It was 112 degrees on set, but I love being pushed to the limit as you start to feel alive creatively. After all, if this kind of work were easy, then everyone would be doing it, right? Hi everyone -- I have been on 32 for a couple years now and haven't had any crazy news usually to share, been just plugging along with a few scripts, plays etc -- but as of Friday I have a little to share as my writing partner and I are taking a meeting on Tuesday after the pitch he sent in placed 2nd at a pretty prestigious scriptwriting competition -- sweeeeet ---- now we just have to follow it up with a great teleplay for them ha -- --- hope everyone had a gr8 productive weekend -- would love to meet at a L/A hook up sometime! best, Mike B

I've started exploring the resources available here at Stage32. Taken some free webinars and one paid webinar. I bought the audiobook Crowdsourcing by RB Botto and am finding it very informative and entertaining. I was one of 8 winners of a grant from the National Italian American Foundation, Italian Sons and Daughters of America and The Russo Brothers Italian American Film Forum for my documentary, MAMA'S MEN now in pre-production. I love teaching, I love creating, I love writing. and I am absolutely in love with the process of making this movie at the age of 70, as of April 18th. Having lived in NYC for 27 years I took advantage of the resources from the Museum of Television and Broadcasting, now known as The Paley Center. I studied screenwriting under John Truby, playwriting under William Talbot and so many more workshops and classes from talented people in stage, television and film. I hope to spend the rest of my life writing, teaching, creating and enjoying the art all around.
