The critical and popular success of our creative director Youssefverse's ABBA: Voulez-Vous music video in 2023 prompted him to come up with a follow-up project: a cool-ass trailer for the music video! Part marketing video and part talent-exposing/portfolio-building motion picture, the trailer showcases Youssefverse's versatile skills as an editor, creative designer and cinematic entity to be (someday) reckoned with. My niche focuses on representing women and the underrepresented LGBTQ+ community, with diversity, equity, and equality. * Trigger warning - there is a short scene of ingesting pills for death by suicide from my award-winning film "Baby in the Basement" written by my screenwriting mentor and teacher, David-Matthew Barnes. The foundation of each project is to convey the story built on healing, empowerment, and moving content to shift viewer perspectives. I love telling the hard stories that need discussions like suicide and teen homelessness from my own personal life experiences. Mental health is more important than ever to discuss with open dialogue removing stigma, encouraging safe spaces for healing, building up community, and collaborations to create a better world through the art of filmmaking.
