The Stage 32 Videos: Filmscore

This is not what I usually do, but I wanted to try something different. Rather than trying to match every cut and action beat in this Avengers scene, I wanted to test an original heroic cue that will be released on 7 August. The goal was to see how the music stands on its own while still supporting the picture, instead of being driven entirely by the edit. One thing I'm particularly interested in is whether the melodies communicate that heroic feeling. Personally, I feel the French horns help give the cue its sense of strength and optimism, but I'd love to know what you hear. If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate your feedback: Do the melodies feel memorable? Does the music genuinely sound heroic? Which moments work best, and where could it be stronger?
