Welcome to another episode of Crossroads. This is Season 1, Episode 2 and this show is about the unique connections and contrasts we have as artists. Each episode we bring together 2 artists to have a one on one conversation about life, art, and talking shop. As will see with this first episode that features 2 amazing artists A. J. Mullican and Nicole De Meneses. A. J. is an indie author who does a lot of her own stuff when it comes to putting out a book in true Indie DIY fashion. Nicole is a filmmaker who is very much alike in that DIY aspect but they also both share the idea that there needs to be more diversity in everything not only they do but what is out there. An exhausted custodian struggles to find a ride home from work as an eccentric customer comes in looking for his missing daughter. Weary custodian, Toni, finds himself behind on his work while closing up shop one night. Desperate to get home, and with no ride, a charming yet odd customer, B, comes in looking for his missing daughter before close. What starts as a routine shift, turns into a disturbingly intimate night between the two.

Once you have a character’s fate decided, how often (give us a percentage) would you say that fate has changed? 3. What was the main reason for the change, fans or the actors who love and are playing them convince you, you fall in or out of love with them, the story shifts while editing, or your editor has made you change it because it makes more sense to go the other direction or you worked it out in rehearsal and they shifted the story that way? 4. Tell us about 1 character you came particularly fond of or grew to despise that you flushed out more for your film then originally expected and how with that character you went about giving them the depth you needed to make sure the audience stood up and took notice? 5. Give us a non-spoiler moment in which a character spoke out against your judgment and changed something benign but that ultimately might turn into a big deal?
