Hi everyone, happy to be here. I’m new to Stage 32, and I figured I’d introduce myself in a slightly unusual way because I’m also looking for a very specific kind of creative person.
I’m a Spanish app builder based in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Over the last 10+ years I’ve built products across mobile apps, AI, design, and backend, and I already have multiple apps launched.
What I’m looking for now is not freelance help, and not just “someone to make content”. I’m looking for a creative partner / long-term co-founder type, someone with real storytelling instinct, strong taste, and founder energy. For the right fit, this is a true co-founder role with equal equity, vesting, and shared ownership in what we create together.
The way I work is simple: I build apps fast. What I want to find is someone who can help turn those apps into videos, stories, and content people actually want to watch. Someone who naturally studies what works online, understands why some videos hit and others don’t, and gets excited by the idea of shaping not just the content, but the direction of what gets built next.
So if you’re a filmmaker, editor, or content-native creative who’s ambitious, analytical, and wants more than client work, this may actually be a great fit.
Remote is totally fine. But for the right fit, I also have lodging available in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, for someone who’d want to build more closely in person.
If this makes you think, “wait… this is actually really interesting,” feel free to message me.

One thing that’s been really interesting for me is realizing how much of the story comes from what the character is avoiding rather than what they’re actively doing. It’s changed how I approach scenes and made them feel more layered.

I think the main thing she’s not ready to confront is the reality of her loss. She holds on to a version of the past that feels safer, so a lot of her reactions come from trying to preserve that rather than facing what’s actually changed.
And that tension between what she knows and what she accepts is where most of the conflict comes from.
Ayesha Simra well said, stepping away for a bit and creating a more holistic view, even at an unconscious level, can be just what the doctor ordered sometime (that pun was not intentional, I swear lol...
Expand commentAyesha Simra well said, stepping away for a bit and creating a more holistic view, even at an unconscious level, can be just what the doctor ordered sometime (that pun was not intentional, I swear lol) - sounds like your character could use a higher vantage point on her experience as well. Excited for your project :)
