See, I have two different ones, as I can’t really tell which one I want to focus on yet! Sorry I don’t bore you and drag on and on, I’ll shorthand the concepts!!

The first one has a working title that I’ll probably have to change called “Charmbreakers”! Middle school girls Cardinal, Eva, and Pelia, learn that the magic they have is considered “defective” - something no one in the general public knows can happen. The girls end up being tracked down by leaders within their world’s monarchy, where they are about to take their magic away from them. Just in the nick of time, they end up being rescued by members of an underground organization that calls themselves The Charmbreakers, and the three girls end up joining their group to protect other ‘defective’ magic users like themselves from them.

The second one follows the children of your classic fairytale stories and myths! I have it under “To Tell A Tale” right now! Ianna, daughter of The Selkie King, and Caelum, son of Robin Hood, end up begrudgingly working with one another, after finding out world leaders (Snow White, Cinderella, King Midas, these types of characters) created physical storybooks that bind and trap people to predetermined paths in their lives. The two of them way to escape the lives they are in, but have vastly different approaches to doing so. I really want this series to focus on relationships and growth and connection, while also exploring what DOES anyone want to do with their lives, and for some side characters, how does the PERCEPTION of you from other people impact your story? Things like that!!

You’re already off to a strong start by writing pilots and specs. What kind of children’s animation shows inspire you the most right now?

I just watched your reel. I love that opening scene that’s black-and-white. The camera loves you! do you find it hard, balancing from a normal day job to your creative side?

I have as close to an ideal "normal day job" as can be hoped for to support my other lines of work. As a property manager, I just have to be available to coordinate with tenants and vendors whenever something needs to be fixed, respond to any issues, report regularly to the owners, and keep the common areas clear of packages, etc. It gives me lengthy windows of free time to work on whatever. In this situation, it can sometimes be a challenge to make up my mind what to do next, if I'm between gigs and don't have a deadline to meet for a client's work order.

After an operation went south, he was pseudocided for his own protection. Now dead to all his friends and family, he must visit his family as one of his alter identities.

What market are you targeting first?

Thank you for the guidance — I really appreciate it.

My primary target market is international, specifically the U.S. and global streaming platforms. While the story is deeply rooted in Mexico (Morelos), its core themes — memory, identity, and love beyond system control — are universal and designed to travel.

I see El Mercado de las Sombras as the entry point: a contained, character-driven sci-fi thriller with emotional depth that can connect with audiences similar to Severance or Dark.

From there, the larger universe (Código Singularidad) expands the IP into a multi-season, multi-timeline narrative with strong transmedia potential.

That said, I’m also very interested in positioning it within the Latin American market as a strategic starting point for production, while maintaining global scalability.

I’d love to explore which path you think is most viable from a development and packaging perspective.

But don't miss the opportunity to "fall in love" with your next business partner - because if you don't admire them and what they do, then it's hard to respect them, and if you don't respect them, then the partnership will fall apart.
