The Cockroach Blues

The Cockroach Blues This is a musical best suited for film animation about a post-apocalyptic world inhabited and ruled by mutated/evolved anthropomorphized insects as the various species strive to assimilate and construct a civilization. It follows a young caterpillar as he navigates this world and learns his place in it. It is highly original, clever, very funny, and profound. It appeals on multiple levels to adults as well as children. It is published as a Flip-book. Go to www.cockroachblues.com to open. Swipe right to left to read. Click on the links to listen to the music (imagine it with orchestration and professional voices). It is 81 pages long with 17 original songs. If you don’t want to read the entire book, at least read the first few chapters and the climactic last few chapters, but if you read it in its entirety, you will realize that this is destined to become a classic, award-winning animated musical rivaling Toy Story, Zootopia, or Frozen. You can listen to all 17 songs (out of context) on Pandora, Spotify, Amazon Music, etc. Ask Aleksa to “play Robert Clutter.” Again, imagine with orchestration and professional voices.
